Diana Ruiz is a conservation scientist who has researched humpback whales in Madagascar and endangered apes in Cameroon through community-driven projects. She holds a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, specializing in reducing the risk of extinction for threatened species. At the Native Land Conservancy a national organization based in Mashpee, Diana supports Indigenous-led land conservation.
